Descripción
Wednesday is in love. And not with any dark, tormented creature, but with an absolutely normal boy.
What in another family could be resolved with an uncomfortable dinner, in the Addams family becomes a true domestic apocalypse. The news shakes the foundations of the mansion and forces everyone - alive, dead, and proudly eccentric - to confront something far more unsettling than darkness: normality.
This new production starts from that premise to build a tragic comedy that, in addition to exploring the clash between two opposing worlds, allows itself to play with the musical’s own language. Deliberately grandiose songs, borderline emotions, a spectacular and proudly excessive scenery, and all the codes of showbusiness displayed with elegant irony.
The result is a tribute and, at the same time, a subtle parody of musical theater: brilliant, sharp and surprisingly emotional.
Because, beyond dark humor and impossible situations, the story speaks of something deeply recognizable: family, teenage love and the sometimes desperate need to be accepted as one is. Even if you’re an Addams.
